Editing
This wiki contains images and pages that are grouped in Collections. Collections form a hierarchy, so that anything that is e.g. in the
"Churches/Religious" collection is also in the "Buildings" collection.
Important Things to Remember
- There is no autosave function! If you are creating a large page or doing a large edit, be sure to click "Save changes" often so you do not lose your work.
- Do not be worried about making errors when editing pages. A wiki is meant to be robust. There is no practical limit to the number of edits you can make, and you can revert a page to an earlier version at any time.
Images and Files
To list and search all of the images and files that are uploaded to this wiki, click here: Special:ListFiles
To upload an image or other type of file, click here: Special:Upload
To annotate or edit the annotations of an existing image, go to the page for the image and click "Edit with form".
To add an image to a collection or collections, go to the page for the image and click "Edit with form", then look for the "Collections" section.
Pages
To list all of the pages on this wiki, click here: Special:AllPages
To create a new page, enter the page name below (note that this will also check for existing pages with the same name):
Collections
To add a page to a collection, enter the page name in the spot below and assign any relevant categories:
To create a new collection:
- Make a collection page by entering the name of the collection here:
- assign the new collection to a parent collection if applicable using the form:
- add the collection to the template hierarchy by editing Template:CollectedIn
- Re-create the table to update the hierarchy:
- in template, click the "Recreate data" tab
- uncheck the "Recreate data into a replacement table, keeping the old one for querying"
- click OK
- wait 1 minute for process to complete (you can click on "View replacement table" link to check progress
Some queries will not show a collection unless it has at least one item in it.
